Thunderfoot put it best: you offset your entire lifetime footprint by not driving a car. The Pela case won’t do shit in terms of offseting CO2 because most of our carbon footprint comes from energy and transportation. If anything it makes pollution worse because you’re taking would be climate activists and gaslighting them into thinking consuming somehow offsets your carbon footprint rather than fighting consumerism itself.
Here’s how to be not just truly eco-friendly but eco-protective: demand that people start making tough little bastards that are designed to last a long time again. A lot of pollution comees from cheap shit designed to be thrown away after a set amount of time and making shit more durable can offset far more carbon dioxide than hundres of Pela cases combined.
Hi, Doesn’t mailing it back use resources for packing material and cause emissions for transportation. I can see the point in composting it but mailing it likely cause more damage then it slowly degrading in landfill.
Incipio organic core phone case is better, way more strong. My pela case fell apart easily at the bottom which the company said it was prone to but I could not get a replacement because it was after 40 day when it happen. And it fell apart within 6 months so in my opinion not a good company.
