PIR Infrared Motion Sensor – PIR infrared motion sensor is at the top of the bulb, the motion detector works like a small electronic eye that detects infrared waves—heat waves that radiate from moving objects. The LED light bulb turns on automatically once movement is detected within 12 – 18ft. It shuts off 30 seconds later after no activity in the detecting scope. No need to switch on/off physically, smart bulb frees your hands.
Dusk to Dawn Sensor: Built-in a photocell sensor, the smart bulb automatically turns on at night (≤ 25lux) when movement is detected and off during the day (≥ 45lux) even with motion detected. It only turns on when the ambient light is dark, avoids unnecessary work in the daytime or when the ambient light is bright. The energy-efficient design avoids wasting of electricity.
Lasting & Energy Saving – With Aluminum heatsink to make sure that the heat comes out from the Lamp. This LED bulb lasts 10x longer than incandescent and 4x longer than halogen bulbs, saving you the cost of frequent bulb replacement. 10W equivalent to 60W traditional light bulb, providing 806lm saving 83% energy, the same enjoyment, sharply decrease your electricity costs. Bulbs are compatible with any standard E26 socket and recommended for Indoor use.
Comfortable Lighting – This A19 led light bulb offers comfortable lighting with high CRI 80+ (color rendering index); At 5000K these bulbs deliver bright. It only lights up in the detective range at night or in the dark environment, energy-saving, environment protecting and long life, can be used in stairs, hallway, bathroom, front door, storage room, garage, closet, balcony, gate and so on. We suggest the bulb should be installed downward and no higher than 8 feet. Expedition Money LLC

Wait a minute.. why it turned off after around 6 seconds of no motion when you were inside but before that when you close the door, it passed 15 seconds and it didn’t turned off!

With a few exceptions, I find these lights useless. They cut on fine, but cut off way too fast and won’t cut back on even if I wave my arms like a wild orangutan. I have to leave the area and come back, or walk up closer to the bulb. Also, when I go into a dimly lit room and can’t tell what color my socks are, they won’t cut on! They’re basically garbage.
Good for food pantries or closets.
Im an electrician and I put motion detector switches in my 4 bathrooms and food pantry.
Oh I also put an occupancy switch in my garage. Soon as I drive in all my lights turn on. You need to be strategic where you put the motion sensor though.

Good morning, I purchased one for my outside porch. Now the question is if I have the on switch and no detection is being detected is it costing me money without the detection?

How has your experience with these bulbs been after one year. Do they still turn off when there is no activity?
